After I learned Illustrator I wanted to have fun with vector. For an assignment I designed this pattern which began as a pencil sketch. Each character was created individually and I applied the pattern to some hi-top sneakers. CuteBruises is to be a separate brand yet owned under my personal brand, Novure Youth. CuteBruises is for a cute vector style while Novure Youth is more menacing, dark, and sophisticated.
